Goals of CREST

		To facilitate the utilization of volunteer community support
		programs.

To link ex-offenders with available resources.

		To encourage and assist employers to utilize ex-offender
		resources.

		To support government agencies in providing better services and
		supervision of ex-offenders.

		To facilitate individuals’ and organizations’ linkages to develop
		communication and referral avenues.

		To identity the needs and requirements of CREST members by
		supplying continuing support to the members with group meetings, fellowships, presentations and workshops.

		To identify gaps in re-entry services and encourage others to fill or
		supply the needed services through existing systems or seeking new members with the skills and services.

		To offer a web site for ease of communication, with display of, and
		links to, service providers, question and answer forum and bulletin board.

		To establish a pre-release system of referrals of exiting offenders
		to implement the immediate establishment of contacts and assistance.

		To establish a directory of members and services offered.
